Yacht Maintenance Management

“Those who neglect to carry out maintenance on their vessels ultimately end up costing themselves more in the long run.”

Dan, OC

Maintenance will most likely be seen as a boring, expensive chore, but it’s important to carry out.  Not only to keep the boat in working order, but to keep it in top condition.  Something which will attract a better valuation later on if you want to sell the boat.

Our maintenance management service is a one stop shop for whatever your vessels needs are.  Take a look below at some examples of what services we can provide.

Whether it’s a small project like getting your boat ready for the upcoming season or a large project like a refit, we can manage the whole process either in collaboration with you or on your behalf.

For items like safety equipment it’s important these are maintained, serviced and tested as per the manufacturers recommendations.  This not only prolongs the piece of kits life, but will also save your life should you be unfortunate enough to need it.  We will add your equipment details to our CMMS system and set up planned preventative maintenance schedules to ensure your equipment is always serviced on time.

If you’re looking for help sourcing supplies then we can assist.  Whether it’s supplying new mooring lines, fenders or safety equipment and anything in between, we’re here to support you.  We can provide you quotes for your consideration and deliver onboard any non fixed items if your boat is local.

Should you need assistance with fuelling up, moving your vessel, lifting/launching or you just want some advice and tips, we can help.

Our trade berth is capable of accommodating boats up to 50 feet in length. Should you require short term berthing or wish to berth your boat with us while on brokerage, we can assist. Any boat, while on our trade berth, will receive routine gardiennage checks to ensure its safety. For more information or rates please contact us.

Our computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) allows us to closely manage, track and keep a detailed history of work carried out on your vessel.  This is invaluable when it comes to proof of work should you need to prove a life jacket was serviced for example.  Our system can be as simple or advance as you wish from either a basic notification to say an item is due for maintenance, all the way to us organizing quotes, supervising work and recording all the information to build a full history.

So whether its assistance in managing your routine maintenance of safety equipment, managing a specific project like having a new bow thruster fitted or you need us to supply equipment like fenders, ropes etc for your new or existing vessel, we are here to help, so please get in contact.

Are you un-insured without knowing?

Is your safety equipment in date? Has your fire extinguishers due date expired and you’ve forgotten to get them serviced? Should anything happen you may not be insured or worse someone could get hurt! Let us take care of all your equipment so you don’t have the worry or stress.

*It must be noted that regardless of how much time and money is spent on preventative maintenance it does not guarantee against all unforeseen failures or breakdowns on equipment but it can decrease the risk of anything occurring.
